It was November 11th of Maryland's 2005 archery season on a crisp evening when I reached into my daypack and pulled out the BB - Dominant Buck. I had been sitting on stand for about an hour before I depressed the can and tossed it from the stand. The time was 1:30pm and it was less than 15 minutes before the first decent buck rushed in to investigate. The 1st buck was only about 3 years old but no doubt a shooter for most. I let the buck go because I was after another buck that I had caught on a trail-cam a week earlier. 30 minutes later, the second buck that thrashed-in and commited to the already dispensed can was 10 yards away when I decided not to shoot. The buck mentioned is the buck that made the same mistake on September 26th of 2006. Just as he did in 2005, he thrashed in to investigate the intruder buck, but instead - as a more impressive 4 year old - he discovered an Easton Axis shaft tipped with a Thunderhead.
