Elk Hunting Scent: Natural Urine Scent For Elk Hunts

The makers of The Buck Bomb introduce The Elk Bomb for 2006; 2 oz. of pure elk urine in an aerosol can that can be dispersed in short bursts or locked down to fog out the entire contents.  Essentially, the scent is turned into a gas cloud that provides incredible downwind range and broadcast area that cannot be duplicated with liquid, solid, or gel scents.

The Elk Bomb is available in two scents, Cow in Heat and Dominant Bull to give the hunter incredible attraction and cover scent.  By completely covering up the downwind side of their position, the elk hunter has an effective new tool for success in 2006.

The constantly changing wind currents and thermals of elk country make scent control extremely unpredictable.  When stalking, a 10-second burst of Elk Bomb can quickly help to diffuse a shifting wind that could give away the hunter’s position.  This product enables the hunter to get closer to water holes, bogs, and feeding areas without spooking the elk. Without The Elk Bomb, the hunter has to rely heavily on luck to succeed.

Even when the bulls are in heavy rut and let their guard down, the cows in the herd are on full-alert.  Keeping them calm with a natural urine scent can make the difference between luring that dominant bull closer or having him charge out of site after his spooked harem.

Hunter’s experimenting with both Elk Bomb scents used simultaneously have had great success.  The scenario of convincing a bull that a hot cow is being tended to by another bull elicits a quick and aggressive response.

The Elk Bomb also can increase success by allowing the hunter to get closer to elk bedding areas that the big bulls troll during the rut.  By working the wind to allow The Elk Bomb to drift into a thick bedding area the hunter can entice a bull to come out into the open for a shot.

The Elk Bomb’s fine mist blows downwind, attaching to brush, leaves, etc. as it goes.  This large scent cone will last for several hours and scent particles can drift over ¼ mile enabling elk to pick it up from great distances without picking up the hunter’s scent.  There is no simpler, more effective way to get scent to the animal and cover human scent than The Elk Bomb.
