Got a Little Help from the Buck Bomb.
When I first saw the deer it was about 250 yards away, straight across a field down wind from me. I didnt even stand up when i first saw it because I felt like he was going to smell me. I had been spraying the buck bomb about every 15 to 20 minutes just to keep the scent fresh. So I reached in my bag and got it out and sprayed it a couple of times. He came straight to me and did not smell me or even know I was there. He walked in to my left with his head down and I saw the right moment to draw back and when I did my bow made a cracking noise, I guess because my bow was cold. But he looked right up at me and I was at half draw for about 5 seconds and i couldn't hold it any more so I went ahead and drew back while he was looking at me and he took another step and thats when I made the shot. I shot him through a hole in a thicket about as big as a softball. When I found him I didnt know what to think. I had never killed or seen anything like him in my life.
